How to add a scene to your stream

Adding an scene to your stream is very easy! Let's go over how to do it.

To start you'll want to make sure you have created at least one scene, you can do this from the Scenes tab by clicking the Create New Scene button.

Once you have created a scene you will see some buttons on it like so:

Scene

The button you're looking for is the Copy Link button. Once you click this is will copy the scene link to your clipboard.

After you have copied the link you will want to note the width and height of the scene. You can do this by clicking the Edit button and looking at the top of the screen. It will have two input boxes labeled width and height, remember those for later.

The way you add it to your stream depends on the software you are using to stream, we're going to go over all the major ones so find the one that you are using.

Adding the overlay to OBS

To get started we need to add a new browser source. To do this click the plus button in the sources tab of OBS, and click Browser

Add Browser OBS

Once you do this, you can go ahead and name the source whatever you'd like. You will then be brought to a screen that looks like this:

Browser Properties OBS

The main thing to focus on here is the URL parameter.

Click into the URL parameter, delete what is there, then paste in the link that was copied from Pixel Chat earlier.

Next we want to set the Width and Height parameters. You want to set these to the same number that we remembered earlier from the scenes edit page.

We recommend leaving the Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active check boxes turned off.

Now you can click OK and the source will be added to your stream!
